One plan per provider: the cheapest that covers 100 GB and meets the job's requirements. 20 priced plans do not say whether they have country targeting and a session that keeps one address for 10 minutes or more, so they are left out rather than counted as meeting it (9Proxy, Bright Data, DataImpulse, Froxy, Geonode, Infatica, LightningProxies, Oxylabs, ProxyEmpire, Squid Proxies and Webshare).
Collecting fares and room rates means running searches the way a traveller does: from a country, one page after another. The plan must let you choose the country your requests leave from, and must keep one address for the length of a search. The table above lists the cheapest plans whose providers say they offer both, priced at 100 GB. Plans whose pages do not say how long a session can keep its address are left out rather than assumed to keep it.
Use case · The live comparison uses prices checked up to Oct 24, 2026; every figure in the text keeps the date it was checked.

Why the country matters
A travel site answers the visitor it thinks it has. Google says of its own flight search: “The location you choose for Google Flights may affect some aspects of your search and purchase”, and names three things that can differ: the booking partners shown (airlines and online travel agencies), payment methods, and refund policies (Google). To record what a traveller in Germany or Brazil is offered, your searches have to leave from there. No provider we track adds a fee for choosing a country (does country targeting cost extra?); a city or a network costs more at some (city and ASN targeting).
Why a session has to hold one address
A search is several pages in a row: the results, a fare or a room, its conditions. The site ties them together as one visitor’s search. Sent from a new address on every page, the later pages can lose the search or start it again, and you pay for the traffic twice. A sticky session keeps one address for a set time (sticky sessions and rotation); ten minutes covers a search with room to spare. Rotate between searches, not inside one.
Work out how much traffic you need
Multiply the searches you run in a month by the pages in each and the size of a page. Travel pages are heavy, because they load prices with scripts after the page opens. A job that runs 500 searches a day of three pages each, at 2 MB a page, uses about 3 GB a day, or about 100 GB a month with one retry in ten. Fetching only the requests that carry the prices, without the page around them, can cut that several times over. How much bandwidth does web scraping use? gives the median page sizes the web has.
When a proxy is not the cheaper route
- A partner or affiliate feed. If you sell travel or send bookings to the sites you cover, ask them for their partner feed: it carries the prices they want shown, with no search per page. The open route has narrowed: Amadeus shut the portal of its self-service travel APIs on July 17, 2026, keeping only its Enterprise APIs (PhocusWire), so most fare data now comes with a contract.
- A scraping API for the sites that block most first attempts, billed only for the pages that come back: smart proxy routing and unblockers.
What the table does not tell you
It ranks plans by cost and by what their providers say they offer. It does not measure block rates, speed, or whether a provider’s addresses in a country are the ones travel sites trust; we do not test those. Try your own routes on a trial first, and check each site’s terms on automated searches before you collect from it.
