Proxy Costs allows six custom analytics event names: calc_run, answer_reached, filter_used, sort_used, outbound_commercial, and data_export. Each event has a fixed property list, and the browser drops every other property before calling either analytics service.

The contact form is a separate, voluntary flow. If you submit it, the form fields and a Turnstile response go to a Cloudflare Worker, which validates the report and forwards an accepted report to a private Discord operator channel.

As of: 2026-08-08, when the event allowlist, Plausible loader, Google Enhanced Measurement behavior, contact form, Worker path, built pages, and intercepted browser requests were reviewed.

Analytics

Proxy Costs uses a self-hosted Plausible instance and Google Analytics 4 to count visits and the six named interactions. A calculator run sends proxy type, unit, and amount. A reached answer also sends the winning plan ID. Sort and filter actions send proxy type, unit, and the named control state. Provider-link events send provider and placement. Export events send file format. The ranked plan list and calculated prices are not properties of these events.

The base Plausible loader does not add automatic outbound-link, file-download, or form-submission events. The site's property allowlist also refuses destination URLs, contact fields, and any data attribute outside the fixed custom-event contract.

Google Analytics 4 Enhanced Measurement remains enabled in the current data stream and operates separately from the six custom events. It can emit form_start and form_submit with form context such as the form identifier, destination, and submit-button text, but not the values typed into form fields. It can emit click and file_download with link metadata including link_url. One provider or export action can therefore appear under both its named custom event and Google's automatic event.

Before Google Analytics loads, the site sets analytics and advertising storage to denied. The site does not set analytics or advertising cookies, but storage denial does not prevent cookieless measurement requests. Blocking either analytics service does not stop the browser-side price calculation.

What is collected

Loading an analytics service sends the normal request information needed to deliver and measure the page view, including the requested page, referrer, IP address, and user agent. Plausible does not use cookies or track people across sites. The six custom interactions add only the fixed properties listed above; Google Enhanced Measurement adds only its automatic event context.

The amount, proxy type, unit, sort, and filters drive a calculation in your browser. Only the fixed custom properties described above leave with a named analytics event. The rendered ranked rows, calculated checkout totals, and calculated per-unit prices are not sent as analytics properties.

You do not need an account, name, email address, or payment details to compare prices. If you choose to submit a report, the contact form sends a category, reply email, short summary, and details. Name, affected-page URL, and supporting-source URL are optional. Those contact fields leave your browser only when you submit the form.

The contact Worker validates the form and Cloudflare Turnstile response, then forwards an accepted report to a private Discord operator channel. Turnstile receives the response token and request information needed to verify the check. The Worker does not write contact submissions to its mail KV or another application database. The resulting Discord message has no automatic deletion schedule. Cloudflare and Discord may retain service records under their own terms.

Provider links and external requests

A provider link leaves Proxy Costs and sends the destination the normal request data associated with opening a web page. The destination provider's privacy terms then govern that visit. Plausible's named provider event does not include the destination URL; Google Enhanced Measurement can include link_url in its separate automatic click event.

The current data projection contains no affiliate or referral URL field. There are no compensated provider links in the current site, and ordinary provider links are not marked sponsored. If compensation is introduced, the affected link and this page must be reviewed together.

Compensation never affects ranking. The ranking code reads price and plan data only; the current bundle contains no affiliate, referral, commission, or sponsorship field.

Pages request fonts from Google Fonts, Plausible from pa.upjourney.com, Google Analytics, and Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact page. Other external addresses are links you choose to follow, not requests the page makes for you.

Contact access and deletion

Use the contact form for a privacy question, to ask what identifiable contact report is held, or to request deletion. Include enough detail to locate the report. The reply address is used when follow-up is needed.

Accepted reports are available to people and service accounts permitted to use the private Discord operator channel. There is no public report archive, site account view, fixed retention promise, or automatic deletion schedule. Access or deletion depends on identifying the delivered message and on the capabilities and records retained by Cloudflare and Discord; this page does not promise deletion from service-level logs or backups.

Do not submit passwords, keys, private billing records, or other secrets. Blocking analytics does not stop the contact form, but the form requires JavaScript and a successful Turnstile check.
