Figure: the site allows six analytics events and refuses every other event name in the browser before any request is made: calc_run, answer_reached, filter_used, sort_used, outbound_commercial, and data_export.

A calculator run sends proxy type, unit, and amount. A reached answer sends proxy type. Sort and filter actions send the control values you selected. Commercial-link events send provider and placement. Export events send the file format. The ranked plan list and the calculated prices are not sent by any of them.

As of: 2026-07-29, when the analytics allowlist, the calculator, the footer exports, and the built production pages were reviewed.

Analytics

Plausible loads for proxycosts.com from pa.upjourney.com, and it is the only analytics service on this site. Google Analytics is not configured, no measurement ID is set, and no Google Analytics script is present in any of the 180 pages of the production build reviewed on 2026-07-29.

The Plausible script variant in use also records outbound link clicks and file downloads alongside page views. That behaviour belongs to the script itself and is separate from the six named events above.

Event properties are limited to calculator inputs, answer type, filter and sort control values, provider-link context, and export format. Nothing else is attached to an event.

What is collected

Requesting the analytics script makes the normal web-request data such as IP address, user agent, requested page, and referrer available to the receiving service. Its retention and processing rules are controlled by that service and by the operator's analytics configuration, not by anything on this page.

Proxy Costs has no account, sign-in form, checkout, or payment form. The only input in the entire site is the numeric requirement field on the five calculator pages, counted in the production build on 2026-07-29. It does not ask for a name, email address, password, or payment information.

Plan ranking is computed from plan data already present in the page and the amount you enter in the browser. The ranked rows, the checkout totals, and the calculated per-unit prices are not included in the analytics event properties found in the 2026-07-29 review.

Provider links and external requests

A provider link leaves Proxy Costs and sends the destination the normal request data associated with opening a web page. The destination provider's privacy terms then govern that visit.

The current data projection contains no affiliate or referral URL field. Commercial links are marked sponsored and can emit provider and placement context. If the commercial link model changes, this page must be reviewed again.

Every page requests exactly three third-party hosts: fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com for the two typefaces, and pa.upjourney.com for Plausible. That was true of all 180 pages in the build reviewed on 2026-07-29. Every other external address on the site is a link you choose to follow, not a request the page makes for you.
