How much do proxies cost?

For an exact 50 GB residential purchase, the eight conflict-free plan rows in our data that have a published 50 GB checkout tier and a source we can still reach cost from $34.65 to $250 total, or from $0.693 to $5 per GB. The low end is GeoNode’s geonode-residential-monthly; the high end is Rayobyte’s rayobyte-residential-monthly. Both prices, and every plan in the range below, were observed on 2026-07-25. A ninth row, PIA S5 Proxy’s, is held out of the range and shown separately, because its pricing source could not be read on 2026-07-29. That is a narrow answer on purpose. A proxy price is only comparable when the product type, purchase quantity, billing unit, checkout total and source state match. A per-IP subscription cannot honestly sit inside a per-GB range. Neither can an unlimited plan, a quote-only offer or a plan whose vendor pages disagree.

The underlying dataset contains 710 plan rows from 47 providers, with vendor evidence retrieved on 2026-07-25. Of those rows, 136 are marked comparable per GB and 574 are not. The figures on this page use the stricter subset that also has an exact 50 GB tier with a published total, is not marked conflicting, and has a vendor source that has not since become unreadable. The complete row set, including the excluded plans, is listed on the the plan data page with its source state and observed date.

These are all eight rows that produced the answer above. The rate is published checkout total / 50 GB; it is not a vendor’s lowest advertised rate borrowed from a larger tier. The row that was held out of the range is directly beneath the table, with its state, rather than deleted.

Both recorded addresses, www.piaproxy.com/pay/?paynavVal=8 and www.piaproxy.com, failed DNS resolution, so the pricing page could not be read. The figures below are the last observation we hold, dated 2026-07-25. Their current state is unknown. They are not verified, they are not current, and they do not set, widen or narrow the $34.65 to $250 range above, which is computed without them.

Holding it out changes nothing about the answer's endpoints, because it sat inside the range rather than at either edge. It does change the panel: eight rows instead of nine, and no single median row. That is the honest cost of a source we cannot read, and it is cheaper than printing a number we cannot stand behind.

Why there is no honest single range for every proxy

The 710 rows use several billing models. The counts below come directly from each row’s pricing_model; the named row is an example of the plans behind that count. This inventory was observed on 2026-07-25.

This is the part most price ranges erase. A buyer comparing datacenter proxies may be choosing between dollars per IP, a flat unlimited subscription, a traffic tier and a custom quote. Dividing every one of those by an assumed traffic amount would create a number the vendor never sells.

The data also contains 103 plan rows with no public price. They span 29 providers, including the named bright-data-residential-enterprise-over-1-tb, oxylabs-isp-semi-dedicated-enterprise-2-000-ips, decodo-residential-enterprise-custom, massive-residential-enterprise-custom and zyte-api-enterprise rows. Another 98 rows are marked conflicting because one vendor’s own pages disagree. Those rows are not allowed to set a cheapest-price claim. What the ranking pages omit

AIMultiple’s proxy pricing page, retrieved 2026-07-26, opens with a residential range of $3 to $15 per GB and says Decodo leads at every tested volume. That is not an exact checkout answer. In our exact 50 GB panel, five named rows sit below its $3 lower bound: GeoNode, DataImpulse, ThorData, Proxy-Seller and Webshare. Their observed rates are shown in the table above with the checkout totals that produce them. The held-out PIA S5 Proxy row sat below that bound on the 2026-07-25 record as well, and it is not counted here, because a figure whose source we cannot read is not evidence against anyone else’s range.

The same AIMultiple page says Decodo’s 10 GB entry price is $55. That mismatch is why the date and plan ID belong beside the figure. A remembered range can be directionally useful, but it cannot tell a buyer what will leave their account now.

The practical answer

Start with the unit the product is actually sold in. If the plan is traffic-priced, compare the cheapest published checkout configuration that covers the volume you will use before expiry. If it is per IP, compare it with other per-IP plans at the required IP count. Keep unlimited and concurrency plans in their own units. Sink quote-only, not-published and conflicting rows instead of estimating them.

For the specific, reproducible 50 GB residential question, the answer remains $34.65 to $250 across the eight named checkout tiers observed on 2026-07-25 whose sources we can still reach.
