For the same provider, the same 20 GB quantity and the same monthly traffic billing model, Oxylabs lists $100 for oxylabs-residential-basic-20-gb and $11.80 for oxylabs-datacenter-shared-pay-per-gb-20-gb. The right type is the cheapest one that satisfies the target, identity and location requirements you can actually verify. Our pricing dataset can compare published product dimensions. It cannot prove that either type will succeed on a particular website because no target tests were run.

The two markets are sold differently

Among the 710 observed plan rows, 166 are residential-only and 248 are datacenter-only. Each set spans 35 providers. Multi-type plans are excluded from those two counts so a row sold across several networks does not appear on both sides. If both types pass the same measured acceptance test, compare the exact checkout at the required quantity. If only one passes, the lower sticker price of the other is irrelevant. If neither has been tested, the honest answer is a test order, not a claim that one proxy type is universally better.
