What it publishes, against what the market publishes
- Publishes a minimum checkout price, as do 41 of 47 providers.
- Publishes whether unused bandwidth expires, as do 30 of 47 providers.
- Does not publish a concurrent session limit. 25 of 47 providers do, so this is a gap rather than a market norm.
- Publishes how bandwidth pools, as do 18 of 47 providers.
- Does not publish a maximum sticky session length. 23 of 47 providers do, so this is a gap rather than a market norm.
Terms Bright Data publishes away from its pricing page
- Bright Data's unlimited datacenter and ISP zones include 100 GB of monthly fair use per proxy IP. Usage beyond 100 GB per IP is no longer covered by the unlimited per-IP price. source
- Bright Data keeps an unlimited zone running after its fair-use allowance and bills excess data at the current pay-as-you-go rate. Crossing the allowance creates an uncapped variable overage instead of stopping service at the prepaid amount. source
- Bright Data does not reverse a fair-use overcharge after it has been applied. Buying more proxy IPs after the threshold is crossed does not retroactively remove the excess-data charge. source
- Residential and Mobile network access requires a compliance process before use, potentially including a video call and identity or company checks. A paid plan may not be usable until verification succeeds, so buyers should not treat signup as immediate usable access. source
If you are comparing Bright Data against something else
The cheapest plans we can price for the same proxy types, at 50 GB a month for traffic-metered types and 10 IPs for per-IP types. Ranked by what you would pay, nothing else.
