At larger scale, Geonode is still lower at 100 IPs, $140 against $145. At 500 IPs, Bright Data costs $700 while Geonode’s cheapest covering option is its 1,000-IP tier at $1,250. At 1,000 IPs, that Geonode checkout stays $1,250 while Bright Data rises to $1,300. Those figures create the third and fourth changes. No exact break-even inside any bracket is claimed because the public ladders do not quote each intermediate IP count.
Bundle shape explains the reversals
Bright Data publishes shared tiers at 10, 100, 500, and 1,000 IPs. Geonode publishes a denser small ladder, followed by a jump from 100 to 1,000 IPs in the captured data. A requested quantity is charged at the cheapest tier that covers it, even if the buyer leaves included IPs unused. Product controls differ with the winning rung
Bright Data’s recorded shared ISP rows publish rotating and static modes with country targeting. They use 30-day monthly billing and no rollover on the provider’s page. That difference cuts both ways. At 10 and 500 IPs, cheaper Bright Data does not publish the ISP targeting that dearer Geonode does. At 1, 5, 25, 50, 100, and 1,000 IPs, cheaper Geonode does not publish the rotating mode that Bright Data does. If a workflow needs rotation or ISP selection, price alone cannot settle the choice.
Decision rule
Price the exact IP count for the next billing month. Geonode has the lower checkout at 1, 5, 25, 50, 100, and 1,000 sampled IPs. Bright Data has the lower checkout at 10 and 500. Re-run the calculation whenever the requirement approaches one of the four crossing brackets, and verify rotation, targeting, and sharing terms before purchase.
