The useful Bright Data alternative depends on traffic, not on how many provider names fit in a list. In the residential plans we can quote, Decodo, Geonode, and Webshare cost less than Bright Data at every shared sampled volume. Oxylabs costs less only through 20 GB, while Froxy costs less through 50 GB. Those are price findings, not performance findings. We have not tested network quality, success rates, or support. How this comparison works
The calculation checks 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 250, 500, and 1,000 GB. At each point it selects the cheapest residential plan that can actually cover the requested traffic, including the full checkout cost of a bundle that contains more traffic than requested. Bright Data’s price to beat
Bright Data’s cheapest published residential checkout in the dataset is the 141 GB monthly plan at $499. That remains the bill at both 10 GB and 100 GB because the buyer must purchase the 141 GB allowance. The plan has a 30-day billing period, unused traffic does not roll over, and the published targeting fields include country, state, city, ZIP, and ASN. There is an upper-tier source mismatch worth preserving. The pair analysis computes 332 GB at $3 per GB as $996 and 798 GB at $2.50 per GB as $1,995, while the captured Bright Data text displays total checkouts of $999 and $1,999.
