2 plans have no public price and are quoted on request. These stay listed rather than dropped, because a comparison that hides the awkward rows is not a comparison.
How SOAX compares with the rest of the market
SOAX sells 4 of the four proxy types we track. We hold 7 of its plans, 5 with a public price.
What it publishes, against what the market publishes
- Publishes a minimum checkout price, as do 41 of 47 providers.
- Publishes whether unused bandwidth expires, as do 30 of 47 providers.
- Does not publish a concurrent session limit. 25 of 47 providers do, so this is a gap rather than a market norm.
- Publishes how bandwidth pools, as do 18 of 47 providers.
- Publishes a maximum sticky session length, as do 23 of 47 providers.
Terms SOAX publishes away from its pricing page
- SOAX credits roll over for 60 days on monthly billing and 365 days on annual billing. Annual commitment preserves unused credit value for 305 days longer than monthly billing. source
- SOAX's test package costs $1.99 for 400 MB over three days. Evaluation has a non-zero checkout and a small traffic ceiling before a paid plan is needed. source
- SOAX requires ID verification and compliance review to open restricted ports such as 25 and 465. A purchased plan does not include immediate access to every port, so email-related use may be unusable unless verification is approved. source
