How Massive compares with the rest of the market

What it publishes, against what the market publishes
- Publishes a minimum checkout price, as do 41 of 47 providers.
- Does not publish whether unused bandwidth expires. 30 of 47 providers do, so this is a gap rather than a market norm.
- Does not publish a concurrent session limit. 25 of 47 providers do, so this is a gap rather than a market norm.
- Publishes how bandwidth pools, as do 18 of 47 providers.
- Publishes a maximum sticky session length, as do 23 of 47 providers.
Terms Massive publishes away from its pricing page
- Massive's product page says sticky sessions last up to 12 minutes, while its documentation allows a 15-minute default and a configurable maximum of 240 minutes. A buyer who needs sessions longer than 12 minutes may wrongly reject the plan or buy a more expensive static product. source
- Massive says unused bandwidth rolls into the next month but does not publish how long rolled traffic remains valid. The retained value of unused bandwidth cannot be calculated beyond the next month, so long-term effective cost remains unknown. source
